Absolution Cannonball Run IPA Can Label

This label was designed for Absolution Brewing Company’s Cannonball Run IPA in collaboration with the Portofino Hotel. The Hotel is the finish line for the Cannonball Run, a cross-country race starting in New York City, to Los Angeles. The idea was to create an illustrative piece depicting two cars racing towards the Hotel. Inspirations for the illustration and color come from an existing winner’s jacket from 1978 and aesthetics from the 1980s.
